The  means that this volunteer has been certified by S.T.A.R.
Which means.....they have taken our short questionnaire in order for
us to determine that they do have enough equine knowledge
and should have no problems handing home vists or site checks.
This means they are certified by S.T.A.R. standards only and
not through any formal standards ( if there is such a thing).
You may download a copy of the test to the left and see
for yourself the questions that are asked.

It is up to you to decide if it is ACCEPTABLE
 by your PERSONAL standards.

Remember, we are only here to assist you an
 may not be what you are looking for.
As in anything like this the old "buyer beware"
needs to be a rule of thumb. We really have no means
of checking our volunteers more closely as they are
just that.....VOLUNTEERS.
