In  Loving  Memory Of
Our Lost Equine Friends

Each and everyone of these horses have their
own special stories and owners that love to talk
about them. They where and are still loved.
These are horses  that have passed through
my barn over a 22 year spam.
All that come to my barn for  training /boarding
or special care I consider to be mine while here.
After all, the owners have placed their special
friends in my care and that is the way it is here.

Cerise Noir

Cherry
Was put to rest  November 2005
at age 23.  Her owner Pat, as
well as everyone in the barn
 miss her very much.
Buck

Buck
We're not real sure what happened
at the end, but we think it was due to complications
from cushings disease that he was being treated for.
This was Early spring 1999.

Social Climber

         SC
Was put to rest in
November 2005 at age 23..
We miss her terribly after 15 year.
She was a horse that  would just keep going.

Sunset

He was about 35 and still
in good health or we thought.
A growth in his small intestines caused colic
and nothing could be done
for this sweet old man but humanely
end his pain.

Amir Ashon

Our beloved  Ashon
Put to rest November 1st, 2002
at a grand old age of 30 1/2.
Our old man is greatly missed by everyone.
We let him go with dignity.
Mira

 Miracle was completely blind
and is about 34-36 years old.  She was a rescue
and a miracle indeed.
We called her  Mira for short.
Due to her age, several other health issues and yet another injury to  her eye with no blood flow
to heal the injury  it was sadly
decided to put her to rest.

Lady

Lady
Put to rest October of 1989 .
Lost prematurely due to heaves at age 12.
She was my best friend and first experience
in losing a horse.  I still have a hard time when
I think about her. I called her Ladybird.
It was the hardest thing I ever had to do.

Joe Boss

Sadly, no picture
This 15 year old quarter horse  we got from a girl that
was off to college and was no longer able to take care of him.
He was limited to what he could do as he had bone spavin.
He was great on the trails though!
My husband isn't much for riding
but he liked riding Boss.
